A glowing cornice...

...warm brick, and shadows in the late afternoon (when else?) on Edmondson St., one of the most charming residential streets in town.

There's something very Lexington about this one (not like yesterday's photo).

I promise to show some morning light in January. Another New Year's resolution....

I love this photo! I have a real thing about sunshine and shadows, not to mention an affinity with red brick buildings.

The carving around the cornice is just beautiful. I love the colors you've captured!

Late afternoon light is often the best and there's often more time to do some photography.

Sweet light. And detail shots like this when viewed cumulatively really paint a picture of a place. Well done!
