An inviting front porch on Jefferson St.
The south end of Jefferson St. has some of the most wonderful old houses in Lexington (including my favorite -- to be posted at a later date), yet it's just a few blocks from the library, shops and restaurants of town.

I would like to sit on one of those chairs and... have a nap!
Love those rocking chairs!
Reminds of the porch cover I used to have before a tree demolished it a couple of weeks ago. I'll have to use this photo as a blueprint for its replacement.
And yet it is a town of a bare 7000 souls - nae, it is but a village!
I like a lot this picture. I mean the place to sit to chat.
Unfortunately, it is not quite porch-rocking-chair weather at present.
Gogouci - Sorry to hear about your porch! Was it the snow you've been having that caused the tree to go over?
