Blue and gold

Hay bales off Route 11 several miles north of town.

The invention of the round hay-baler was a boon for lovers of the picturesque.

Nice landscape. As a boy I used to work the baler on a schoolfriends family farm in those far off endless summers. Then the bales were oblong and later we would make them into a haystack. Rarely see them these days.
