Looking north up Main St. -- the center of Lexington; early winter sleet clouds overhead. This is quintessential American small town, with a Virginia accent. On the hill in the distance are the Gothic ramparts of the Virginia Military Institute. More on that tomorrow.

This is gorgeous and I love how you describe it as "quintessential American small town, with a Virginia accent"...perfect!
I like this street decorated for Christmas with a few details of red ribbons. I think it is not necessary to fill the street lights for this dates cob the economic crisis that we are going through. Besides the lights generate light pollution and prevent see the starry sky.
Does Murcia light up anything like Madrid?
Cool shot, looks like a lovely town
Murcia no lights so exaggerated as Madrid, but also illuminates a lot this time.
Very nice, makes me miss my hometown.
